Ten Courts, an Academy, and No Club Dues
McDowell Mountain Ranch is the practical tennis answer for the buyer who does not want a country-club commitment. Ten hard courts at the Community Center, an HOA key-fob access model, and the Seth Korey Tennis Academy running structured programs on-site.
The Academy means residents can take lessons, send kids to camps, and join organized adult match play without leaving the community. For a working tennis household, the math is hard to beat.
Courts and Access
Ten outdoor hard courts at the McDowell Mountain Ranch Community Center and Recreation Center park complex. Access is by HOA key fob or card. Court hours are generally 7am to 9pm.
Programs at the Seth Korey Tennis Academy
The Academy runs year-round on the community courts: private and group lessons by skill level, adult clinics, junior development tracks, summer and spring-break camps, and organized match play for adults.
Program fees are paid directly to the Academy, separate from HOA dues. League opportunities, including USTA-affiliated team play, run through the Academy or through nearby Scottsdale Ranch Park.
The Community Around the Tennis
McDowell Mountain Ranch sits on roughly 3,200 acres along the western edge of the McDowell Sonoran Preserve in north Scottsdale 85255. The master plan includes single-family neighborhoods at multiple price tiers, townhomes, and condominiums. Walkability to the Community Center is a real consideration when choosing a sub-neighborhood.
