Five Lighted Courts and a Real Racquet Calendar
Terravita is what happens when a master-planned community decides tennis is going to be a real amenity instead of a decorative one. Five hard courts, four of them lighted, a busy round-robin ladder, weekly clinics, and an inter-club league schedule that draws teams from across the North Valley.
The pace is competitive without being intimidating. It is one of the few clubs where a new resident can be in a regular doubles rotation within their first month.
Courts and Surfaces
Five hard courts, four lighted, located at the Terravita Golf and Country Club racquet complex. Membership is equity and mandatory for Terravita homeowners. Tennis is included in standard membership tiers.
Programs and Play
Weekly round-robins, ladder play organized by skill level, group clinics, private lessons, and inter-club league teams. The club hosts several member tournaments through the season, plus social mixers tied to holiday weekends.
The Community Around the Tennis
Terravita sits on 823 acres just north of Pinnacle Peak Road in north Scottsdale's 85266. Homes are a mix of single-family on golf-course frontage, patio homes near the clubhouse, and custom estates on the perimeter. Walkability to the racquet club is one of the buying criteria worth considering.
